Hayley Windows Racketball Doubles Tournament

Below you will find a report of our recent Hayley Windows Doubles Racketball Tournament.
Firstly, can I thank Hayley Windows for sponsoring another superb tournament again this year. Kelly, Laura and team have sponsored this event for a number of years now, and this year saw an increase in participants for both men’s and Ladies competitions, concluding on Friday 6th December, with some competitive and thoroughly enjoyable finals, which saw Kelly and Evie retain their title for another year and Andy² as they are becoming known as, continue their winning ways with a successful battle over their younger opposition.
The Ladies draw featured 11 pairs and the Mens Draw a whopping 18 pairs. Many thanks to all the competitors, many of whom managed to arrange and complete games around the National Doubles, held last week, the Nigel Wright Squash Tournament, league and team matches. It has certainly been a busy couple of weeks.

I extend my thanks to all who came and supported the tournament, not just on the Semi and Finals evenings, but throughout and not forgetting Graham Crookson, Ian Bradley and John Bartlett for marking on the finals. It has been fantastic to see Racketball growing within our club and I’m sure that this will continue to be the case, with Stourbridge holding the Nationals Doubles again in December 2025.
As we move into 2025, We look forwards to our next Racketball events. More details to follow, but to give you a heads-up;
