Information about Junior night.

Dear Members,
One of the great things about our club is seeing so many juniors and families enjoying tennis together on Friday evenings. With that in mind, we'd like to share a few reminders and updates about how we can continue to make Friday nights welcoming and enjoyable for everyone.

As always, Friday nights are open to all members, and everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy the club. However, if you are planning to play on a Friday evening, please be aware that there will likely be a higher level of activity, noise, and movement around the courts than on other club nights.

These sessions are an important part of our junior programme, providing a safe, fun, and inclusive environment for our young players to develop their tennis and enjoy time with their friends. They are also a valuable opportunity for families to spend time at the club and be part of our tennis community.

To support this, we will be trialing some designated areas within the clubhouse on Friday evenings. The Pedmore Lounge will have a sectioned-off area for our older juniors (aged 10+), while the Norton room will be designated for our younger juniors. As always, younger juniors using this area will need to be supervised by their parents. Board games will be available from the office.

These areas will be designated for junior use until 8:00pm. As this is a trial, we will monitor how it works in practice and welcome feedback from members as we look to create the best possible environment for everyone.
The juniors can continue to use courts 13/14 after their sessions have finished. The club has kindly ordered cones, bean bags, footballs, hoola-hoops and a storage area for these to be kept. Please ensure items are respected are returned after use.

We appreciate your understanding and support in helping us create a positive atmosphere for our juniors while continuing to welcome members of all ages to enjoy the club.

Thank you for your continued support.

The Board.
