Urgent Notification. Essential Maintenance

Happy New Year to you all.

I would like to make you all aware of essential maintenance works being undertaken to the outside balcony area.
This work is scheduled to commence on Wednesday 17th January 2024 and will hopefully only take 3 weeks to complete.

From Monday 15th January 2024 up to the completion of the works there will be no access to the outside balcony under any circumstances during this time.
There will also be no access to the pebble pathway below the balcony area which is the pathway to the tennis courts.
No access via the door outside squash court 6 and no access via the wellness room to any members (including coaches).
The tennis practice wall will also be out of action.
Floodlights will be activated by the bar staff on the members request.

We apologise for the inconvenience but it is essential we complete these urgent works at this time and also ensure everyone's safety is paramount.

Access to and from all of the tennis courts will be via the gate off the main car park.
Access to the plexi cushion tennis courts and the artificial clay courts will be through court 8 and 9 and then the member walking around the perimeter of the courts.
Can we please ask that consideration is given to tennis players on court at the time and please wait for rallies to stop before walking through and behind the courts.

Children 10 years of age and under will need to be supervised by an adult when leaving the club and accessing the tennis courts. Children will need to be supervised whilst on court and when leaving the courts to re-enter the club. Friday night tennis will continue as usual but with these supervision conditions in place.

A map is attached for your reference and there will be information displayed explaining these access points.
Certain areas of the main car park and grounds will be cordoned off and are out of bounds.
If you have any concerns or questions please ask at reception and the staff will be happy to help.

Thank you again for your understanding and the disruption which you may incur.

Chairman and the Board.
