Tennis Update February 2022
Dear Member
I would like to start by welcoming the many new members who have recently joined our club and hope you are making the most of all the fantastic facilities we have to offer.
The days are now getting slightly longer and with the onset of spring it is time to start thinking about the new tennis year ahead of us.
Tennis Leagues
There is a league for everybody and all abilities so if you fancy playing different players in a more competitive environment then please join one of our leagues. Team Tennis
This summer we will be entering 6 ladies teams, 5 mens teams and 3 mixed teams in the Hereford & Worcester league.

Junior News
Easter Junior Tennis Camp with Kirk and Grant
Dates: 12th - 14th April and 19th - 21st April. Please contact Grant on glc24@live.com
Junior Leagues
Please add your name on to the new entry list, on the Junior Notice Board, for a Spring relaunch.
Additional Junior Groups
Kirk, along with the coaching team, is looking at re-launching extra Junior Group Coach-ing sessions during the week and weekend for all ages and abilities at a termly cost. If you are interested, please contact Kirk at kirk@kirkwoodalltennis.com

Ladies Open Tournament
This will run on Thursday 1st September. To enter please contact Richard or Helen Walker
Annual Club Tournament
The tournament will run throughout July, August & September, culminating in an exciting finals weekend on the 24th and 25th of September.
Fun Tournaments
We are hoping to run a few fun tournaments this year and once we have some dates we will let all members know the format and how to enter.
Trophies
Please can all trophies from last year’s tournament be returned to the office as soon as possible so they can all be taken together to be engraved with your names.
A Special Plea:-
Does any member know where the Mens Veterans Doubles shield is? This is a large shield and has the history of over 40 years of winners engraved on it. If you have it, or know where it is, then please return this piece of club history ASAP. Many Thanks.
