Thanks for entering the GI Sykes Racketball championship. As usual, the draw has been posted on the noticeboard behind court 2.
Please note that in order to qualify for the plate tournament in your particular draw, qualifying matches MUST be played. Only under very exceptional circumstances will the tournament organiser consider exceptions to this rule.
Because of the limited entries to the over 70 draw, a round-robin two league tournament is being held instead. (there will not be a plate tournament for the o70 as everyone will be able to play at least two matches).
This year we are also managing the tournament concurrently on MyCourts. Log in and select ‘tournaments’ from the landing page drop down menu. The O70’s round robin leagues can be viewed under ‘leagues’ on the landing page drop down menu.
If you can, please record results on both the notice board and on line; this way the tournament can flow with a pace as players will readily be able to see on-line who their next opponent might be.
And finally, because the entry numbers have been excellent, I propose to extend the evening and weekend singles league by a couple of weeks to allow all matches to completed.
