Unfortunately, this evening the kitchen will be closed.
Please see below info regarding new membership cards.
As some of you may know we had a new till system installed last Friday.
This new system is replacing a very outdated one and will bring us up to the 21st century. Both with organisation in the office and for yourselves with keeping closer track of your membership account.
What does this mean for yourselves as members?
1. New members cards: We are currently assigning each of you a new Members card that is compatible with our new till. This shouldn't take much longer, and we thank you for your patience.
2. Your old balance! DONT WORRY backups were taken and sent to the till providers. All members credits will be transferred onto your new card before you get them.
3. Added features. Should you wish, the new members card can grant you access through the Paxton turnstiles. (If you would like this activated you will need to take your card to the office and get them to enable this feature. please remember for safety reasons we are only allowing one device to let you in so if you choose to do this you will lose the phone option.)
------PLEASE KEEP your old cards for Mycourts bookings ------------
We hope in the near future to get the new members cards to do "ALL" but for now please keep your old members cards for the Mycourts booking system.
4. Coming soon... An app is in development to go alongside the till and new cards. This will allow you access to a lot more content both at the club or from home. examples are,
- using your phone as a member's card
- view your account, balance, spend, products for sale all from your phone.
- Buying tickets for events from your phone like quiz/NYE/ other social events.
-Top up your members card from the app, saving you a trip to the bar during busy periods.
and much much more.
We got into a bad habit with the old till of not needing club cards and searching up names. We do not have this option any more so please bring your card for every bar transaction so as not to pay the non-members prices.
