Hi all,
Just a few tennis updates.
Court admin- Clay courts- I just wanted to clear up some confusion. It is still advised that we change shoes/wear the covers after playing on the clay courts, regardless of the weather. The court sweepers have been removed for the winter, as they do not need to be brushed when wet.
Team tennis- with the winter season close to wrapping up, we are looking ahead at the summer season. If anyone is interested in joining in with team tennis, or would like to know more, please reach out. We have men’s teams, women’s teams and mixed teams, all of varying standards, so there really is something for everyone! You can contact Jo Skym for women’s/mixed and Andy Eaton for men’s. If team tennis isn’t your thing, but you would like to get involved in something a little more competitive, we have lots of different leagues to join. These are open to all standards of players.

- Mixed doubles

Mix-in tennis- open sessions which you can just turn up and play. They run at 6pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and 3pm on Sundays (which will change to 5pm when the clocks change). There is always a range of standards, and friendly faces, so it’s a great chance to have a fun hit, and make some new friends.
