Club Championships: Court Access Update & Final's Weekend Details

Good Morning Everyone,

I hope you're all well and enjoying the sunshine!

With the Tennis Club Championship weekend fast approaching, you may have noticed that a number of courts have been reserved to accommodate the matches.

We understand that with this beautiful weather, many members are eager to make the most of it and get on court—and that these reserved slots can be a bit of an inconvenience.

To help with this, we’ll be releasing any courts not claimed for Club Championship matches 24 hours in advance. Please note that managing this is quite a bit of admin, and as we are a small (working!) team of volunteers, we may occasionally miss one. In such cases, we encourage members to use the courts on a ‘stand and wait’ basis.*

* Standard ‘Stand and Wait’ Rules:
Court time should be limited to 1 hour if someone is waiting. If no one is waiting, feel free to continue playing.

We also hope to see as many of you as possible for Final's Weekend on 19th/20th July. It’s always a highlight of our tennis calendar and promises to be a joyful weekend with lots to watch. Please keep your fingers crossed that this lovely weather continues...

Best Wishes,

Emma Franks
